trivial minutia #1 - autumnal factoids

  • An acorn in your pocket brings good luck.
  • An abundance of spider webs in the fall means next spring will be warm.
  • Boston was called Pumpkinshire before Beantown.
  • The pilgrims planted the first United States apple trees in the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

just wanted to tell you I love your autumnal factoids. During the month of February I post Blactoids for Black History Month. I love anything that ends with -oid. Including, but not limited to altoids :)

I also love the word minutia. I think I used it 15 times this past weekend.
