this morning we went to breakfast with friends... two single parents with three kids between them. set up via text messaging at 6:45am, it was a pleasantly leisurely time together and it felt good to be in the presence of those caring about us and we caring about them.
casual conversations about all things good in life and breakfasting over cinnamon toast and matzo ball soup at a family friendly place in westwood. all five kiddoes got along amazingly well and we weren't a crazy scene in the restaurant! :) the two of us moms thought about the zoo for breakfast, but i don't think they serve our sort of animals...
it's been a long time since we've been out with friends on a sunday morning for breakfast or lunch. i must say, i love it! thanks katie and company...
